Mature Entry Route to CMP Credential Award is available for highly experienced academia, trainers and educators including school principals on completion of the Award Program.

Specialist Entry Route to CMEd Credential Award is available for distinguished academia, school principals and specialist educators on completion of the Award Program.

The Development Model : Montessorian World Education

Montessorian World Education adopts a unique concept of learning and teaching. It challenges thinking minds and regenerates the spirit of learning. It develops life values and the fullest potential in a person.

The Model for Montessorian and Professional Development is designed for participants to be progressive in life education. The new education that enshrines the Total in Learning paradigm provides members the pathway opportunity to go beyond knowledge introduction and enrichment (at CL-1) and into lifelong learning : from guided studies to taught self - directed learning, embracing highly effective practice-based (at CL-2), mind skill development (at CL-3) and problem-based (at CL-4) learning processes. It leads you to be a life educator and achiever at CL-5. It is a systematic and regenerative development program.

The Competence Assessment format with its staged award allows participants to study and achieve at their own pace and place. Learn and Earn scheme is available for those seeking career and entrepreneurial startup.

The Assessment of Competency Level (CL)
	International Montessorian Certification The three main categories are : (1) Membership Competency Assessment or (2) Transnational Education Assessment or (3) Direct Entry Assessment through Mature or Specialist Route. Description of Technical Competency,
Certification and Membership Awards : Growth Opportunities

Becoming Montessorian™ is a membership programme, structured for Montessorian and Professional Development and as a pathway for experiential learning and wholesome growth.

The Program is designed for parents, teachers and trainers, principals and educators as well as administrators and para service providers. It also provides transformational learning opportunities for those who possess other disciplinary education and related Montessori experiences to be part of this development process. This includes participants with Montessori qualification awarded by a local government approved institution. Entry level is based on participants' prior learning and experience and their desired outcome of achievement.

Personal Enrichment : Introductory Montessorian Modular Education
- for parents of young children keen to learn about child development and preschool education. Individuals considering early childhood education as a career and wanting to gain basic knowledge of this field before making a decision on a career pathway. An introductory programme for all.

Competency Level (I) : International Montessorian Certificate (IMC) or an approved equivalent course award
- for parents and teaching assistants; teachers pursuing a career working with young children and wishing to upgrade themselves by acquiring a qualification and technical knowledge, and to be able to work under supervision in a Montessorian Environment as junior teachers.

Competency Level (II) : International Montessorian Diploma (IMD) or an approved equivalent course award
- for parents as teachers and junior childcare / school teachers to develop a higher level of technical competency and to be able to work independently and effectively at a more advance curriculum level as senior teachers.

CMP Certified Montessorian Professional and CMEd : Certified Montessorian Educator are both professional and business certification programmes.

CMP and CMEd program @ Montessorian Competency Level - III & V provides individuals the professional competency and necessary qualification to be Partner in Montessorian World Education. You are a professionally qualified as a CMP : Certified Montessorian Professional.on completion of Competency Level (III) and internship. Members who have completed Competency Level (IV) and internship may apply to the CMEd : Certified Montessorian Education Membership grade

Competency Level (III) : Professional Membership Higher Diploma or an approved equivalent course award
- for senior teachers and trainers to develop themselves to an advanced level of technical competency and an added mind-set skill capable to be a supervisor or trainer. On successful completion of CL III and training practicum, you are a qualified as teacher /trainer and as a Certified Montessorian Professional eligible for advancement under CL IV and V .

Competency Level (IV) : Professional Membership Graduate Diploma or an approved equivalent course award
- for continual professional development and Montessorian Professionals seeking higher competency and professional pathway to be a Certified Montessorian Educator. On successful completion of CL IV programme, you will be awarded the course diploma. On fulfillment of the internship be granted the membership title as a Certified Montessorian Educator.

Competency Level (V) : Professional Practice Award Certification
On successful completion of all study prerequisites or a major approved Research Project or a practical internship based on a real project implementation, you are awarded the Practice Certificate and eligible for a full membership as a Certified Montessorian Educator. You are accorded the privilege to apply as a panel member, mentor or examiner at the Montessorian World Education Faculty and eligible to lead a MWCC/CCLP/CMEd Partner School or to apply to become a Montessorian Community / Education Host in your country / region

Application for Direct Entry Assessment through Mature or Specialist Entry Route are considered on a case by case basis.

Membership Certification ( l ) ;
Direct Membership Competency Assessment

Membership Competency Assessment and Montessorian Award.

This Membership Format of Assessment is designed to determine the Competency Level of skill, knowledge and aptitude of the participant. There are five main categories of Competence Assessment and Award. Those who have successfully completed their course of under the Montessorian and Professional Development Modules in their home country may also apply for a Direct Montessorian Competency Assessment and receive Montessorian Membership Award.

Generally, the Assessment of Competency Level I to III, the examination and review consists of three parts,
a) a two hours written examination on Montessori Theory and methodology, b) a comprehensive oral examination requiring precise presentation and use of the teaching materials, and c) the completion and presentation of required handmade curriculum materials.

The Assessment of Competency Level IV to V, generally shall consist of research and development, submission of an approved self contracted real life project work and the successful implementation of it.

The scope of assessment and the expectation to be achieved for each Competence Level are detailed in the Montessorian Education Manual.

Practicum and Internship
As a form of internship program for potential teachers, teaching practicum can be arranged at a Certified Partners' schools. This program provides students the opportunity to observe children and trained teachers at work. Guided training and supervision from the school director and daily discussions. Trainers' Practium is separately designed for observation of delivery skills and practices of effective training. Feedback will be provided

Membership Certification ( ll ):
Reciprocity Route, Transnational Education Assessment

Transnational Education Assessment and Montessorian Award.

This Assessment of Montessorian Standard is designed to determine the Competency Level of skill, knowledge and aptitude of participants who have successfully completed their course of Montessori studies in other approved institutions in their home country. These are generally at Competency Level 1 and 2, and in some special cases at Competency Level 3. The Competency Assessment of Montessorian Standard will determine the equivalent Montessorian Membership Award.
Graduate Applicants who have completed their studies from other approved learning institutions may also apply for a formal Reciprocity Assessment of their qualification and receive an equivalent Montessorian Membership Certificate Award. Applicants under this route may have to attend an Induction programme or directed CPD courses and pass the prerequisite assessment prior to the Montessorian Award.

Generally, the Transnational Education Assessment of Standard is for Competency Level I to III.
It includes a comprehensive review of participant's prior learning and experience. Applicants will have ,
a) to attend a Montessorian Induction Seminar and Workshop.
b) to submit a Work Paper
c) to present his/her handmade curriculum materials.

The Assessment of Competency Level is usually conducted twice a year.
The application can be submitted directly by the individuals or through the a Education Host.

The scope of assessment and the expectation to be achieved for each Competence Level are detailed in the Education Manual.

Direct Entry Assessment
- Mature Entry or Specialist Entry Route

The aim of this assessment is to determine the applicant's capability and aptitude as a Montessorian Professional to advance Montessorian World Education.

Highly experienced montessori-based educators or expert who by reason of advanced knowledge or competence can demonstrate superior proficiency in as a Montessorian Educator or Provider of Montessorian Education may apply for a Montesorian Certification Award.

Applicants shall indicate which of the Entry Category they are applying for the membership certification, namely,
a) Mature Entry Route : Applicable for Academic and Educator, including highly experienced Practitioner, School Owner / Principal.
b) Specialist Entry Route : Applicable for Specialty Educationalist or Specialist Consultant

Applicants are not required to undertake the full Assessment of Competence that applies to Standard Examination Entry Route but Applicants must complete a modified process of assessment comprising

Stage 1
- Review of career information and working experience submitted in the Application. Information provided must be in detail as set out in Conditions of Membership and comply with the Certification requirement. This review will decide whether the various requirements have been satisfied and the eligibility of the Applicant to proceed directly to the interview stage to determine the Competency Level for membership or to undertake a modified Montessorian Development program before the Assessment.

Applicants may be directed to complete a CMP or CMEd Award Programme or Registry Certification Programme as the Board of Examination deems appropriate.

Stage 2
- Review of CMP or CMEd Project Document, if applicable
- Panel interview during which Applicants are required to demonstrate their experience and knowledge of their competency in Montessorian education and profession.

Applicants may be granted for CMP or CMEd Award as the Board of Examination deems appropriate.

Assessment requirements
Specialist Entry Applicants are required to demonstrate a greater level of practical experience than Mature Route Entry candidates.
Specialist Entry Criteria Assessment is based on submission of documented historical evidence of achievement and sociogenetic contribution in the field of Montessori education and/or completion of related Montessorian research and development project.

Membership and International Montessorian Certification

Montessorian World International is founded with the aim to act as an unification hub and be the World Fraternity for all Montessorians and educators. As a Open Learning Network, "Becoming Montessorian" is an inclusive Montessorian and Professional Development Model for all and is specially dedicated to those in pursuit of global peace education and the nobility significance as an educator.

All interested individuals are welcome to participate in its 5 - stage Montessorian and Professional Model Program for personal enrichment or professional development. Montessorian World International provides the extension and the advancement for the tradition of Montessori Studies. MWI terms the Membership programme as "Becoming Montessorian ; Mind of a Scientist, Love of a Saint, Heart of a Servant".

All Education Service Providers and Montessori - based education establishments including professional associations are also welcome to be part of the delivery process as our Education or Community Hosts in their own respective country.

International Montessorian Certification is a unique competency based assessment to qualify graduates into the membership roll of Montessorian World International.

Members who have successfully completed a Competency based Module of studies at Becoming Montessorian program can apply for a Direct Membership Competency Examination and on successful assessment shall receive a Montesorian Education Award.

Graduates or students who have completed a local government approved equivalent Montessori course or related program in their countries can also apply to join our Montessorian World Fraternity of Educators by making an Application for a Transnational Education Assessment and receive a parallel Montessorian Education Award on successful assessment.

All Members have the opportunities of continual education and advancement at their own pace and place under the Montessorian and Professional Development Model.

International Montessorian Certification
Montessorian Education Award. Participation Statement.

Membership is a Learning Partnership and a commitment for continual education and cooperative development. Members pledge to be relevant, competent and professional always. All members design their self contracted action plan to advance themselves under the Montessorian and Professional Development program plan at their own pace and place.

Members are expected to explore the development opportunities on their own and be aligned to the Montessorian World Education Paradigm for the growth process. Formal assessment is conducted based on competency level.

Members on completion of a Competency Module can apply for a Membership Competency Assessment. On successful examination, members will be awarded an appropriate Montessorian Education Award.

Other graduates or students who have completed or are enrolled in a local government approved Montessori related course of study may also apply for a Transnational Education Assessment for a parallel Montessorian Education Award.

Trainers and Education Service Providers including governmental approved Montessori-based learning centres and Montessori based associations are welcome to partake with us in the delivery of this extended Montessorian Development Model for Life Education. Interested parties can apply to be Community or Education Hosts to advance Montessorian World Education and Fellowship in their country.

Membership and Professional Certification Award
Certification Award Programmes.

To be a Certified Montessorian Professional or Educator is by assessment of competency. For Mature Entry Route and Specialist Entry Route, applicants are required to complete a CMP or CMEd Award program or part of it at the discretion of the Education and Membership Board for the purpose of Assessment of Professional Competency.

Montessorian World CMP Award
CMP Award is for those completed Membership Competency 3 Module Assessment. Mature candidates and those who have proven prior academic qualification and experience and satisfied the Board of Assessment through a formal submission of Professional Practice Paper. The Program leads to a CMP Certificate Montessorian Professional, Membership Grade.

Montessorian World CMEd Award
CMEd Award is for those completed Membership Competency 4 Module Assessment. Highly qualified candidates and distinguished educators with proven prior academic qualification and experience and satisfied the Board of Assessment through a formal submission of Professional Practice Paper. The Program leads to a CMEd Certificate Montessorian Educator, Membership Grade.

Fast track Affiliation Certification Award Programmes.

To be a Registry Member at the Montessorian Business Registry, applicants may be required to complete a Professional or Business Certification Award programme for the purpose of Brand incorporation, Business and Professional Practice Competency Assessment..

Professional Certification Award
Fast track Professional Practice Certificate is designed for Qualified Montessorians with proven related work exprience and are desirous to be affiliated with Montessorian World for service as trainers, examiners and mentors. The programme also prepares Montessorians to be part of the Business and Education Development team, and have the opportunity to organise and conduct International Montessorian Certification in their community as a CMP Certified Montessorian Professional

Business Award Certification
A fast track Business Certification Award Programme is designed for Qualified Montessorians with proven relate experience and are desirous to be a Certified Corporate for providing services at Montessorian World, The Award is for Members to organise a new start up or convert an existing centre for the advancement of Montessorian World Education and Fellowship in their country as a CMEd Certified Montessorian Educator.
